Post-UNFSS High-Level Policy Conversation: What do the outcomes of the United Nations Food Systems Summit mean for African food systems transformation

Convened by the Malabo Montpellier Panel in collaboration with the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank and IFAD, this High-Level Policy Conversation will reflect on the outcomes of the recent UNFSS from a variety of perspectives and discuss the implications for Africa’s food systems transformation, as well as next steps and implementation on the ground.

The discussion will also consider the opportunities to align efforts with international agreements such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), and the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
