From September 3 to 6 2019, over 2000 delegates will gather in Accra (Ghana) to participate in one of the year most anticipated conference on African Agriculture. Convened by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) “is considered the world’s most important and impactful forum for African agriculture, pulling together stakeholders in the agricultural landscape to take practical actions and share lessons that will move African agriculture forward.”

As a leading institution in advancing Africa’s agricultural transformation agenda and promoting sustainable food systems that will drive value for African smallholder farmers and economies, the Forum is attended by high-level dignitaries, including current and former Heads of State and Government; Agriculture and Finance Ministers; eminent leaders of global and regional development institutions; top industry captains from the national, regional, and global private sector; cutting-edge knowledge and research institutions, tech leaders and agri-preneurs; and lead representatives of farmer organizations and key non-governmental implementing partners.

For this year conference, The Malabo Montpellier Panel (MaMo) is joining the conference as a Technical and Knowledge partner.

The Malabo Montpellier Panel convenes 17 leading experts in agriculture, ecology, nutrition and food security to facilitate policy innovations by African governments that accelerate progress towards food security and improved nutrition in Africa. The Panel identifies areas of progress and positive change across the continent and assesses what successful countries have done differently. It then identifies the most important institutional innovations and policy and program interventions that can be replicated and scaled up by other countries.

The MaMo’s co-chairs and Panel members will contribute to the Forum through several interventions as presenters, moderators and/or speakers. Their interventions will happen as follow:
