Noble Banadda is Professor and Chair of the Department of Agricultural and Bio Systems Engineering at Makerere University in Uganda.
He earned his Doctorate degree in chemical engineering at Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven, Belgium. He also followed postdoctoral professional training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2013, he was inaugurated as the youngest fellow of Uganda National Academy of Sciences and in 2015, was honored as young scientist at the World Economic Forum in Dalian, China. He is currently the interim president of the Uganda Young Academy. He was also named a Fellow of the Global Young Academy in 2013.
